I realize I’m probably stating the obvious here, but it is still worth stating.  Before you go out and sign up with a web hosting provider do your homework!  The Internet has a ton of information and your time will be well spent doing some research on your desired hosting provider before actually signing up.

I have been searching for a good Windows ASP.NET hosting provider.  I came across one - M6.net - that looked like a good option.  The options they offered looked good and so did the pricing.  I was just about to pull the trigger when I decided I better do some quick searches to see what other people’s experience has been with them.

I went to Google and did a search on "opinions of m6.net hosting".  There was a good list to pick from.  I checked out a few links and quickly discovered there are a LOT of complaints with the company and service. Based on the reviews it looks like they used to be pretty good but in the past 12-18 months have sunk to the bottom.

While I’m disappointed that I need to track down a different option for Windows hosting, I am very glad I did my due diligence prior to making a bad choice!
